From time to time we may have adult cats which require re-homing. This may be due to the fact that perhaps they are not happy in a multi-cat household or they are being retired from a show/breeding program. However much we would like to keep them all, as they are all 'family', it is impossible to keep every cat and kitten and it may also be in their best interests to find them a new loving lap.
We therefore face the heart-breaking truth that some of our cats will have to go to new permanent loving homes. We are obviously very concerned that they go to new homes where they will be appreciated, cherished and well taken care of and have a forever home and be as loved in their new home as they have been with us .
It is not something I take lightly as I believe a cat should be for life but if it is best for the cat then it is the cats well being that is of utmost importance
