Adorable! A very handsome and well grown kitten of promising boning and type. He had an excellent head with well set ears and large, well opened eyes that were very expressive. His ears were of medium size, broad at the base and set well apart in the rounded contours of the head. His nose was short, broad and straight with a slight downward curve. His cheeks were full and he had a rectangular muzzle of medium width but I would like the whisker pads a little more prominent. Excellent body with strong boning and a solid muscular feel to him. He had sturdy legs and round paws. His tail was of medium length, thick and rounded at the tip. His coat was really gorgeous; it was thick and dense but soft, plush and scrunchy. It curled well and he was beautifully presented. He was in superb condition and had a wonderful temperament.

ACOZNI  AN TBANDERAZ  (Owned by Corrine )- Best of Variety British Kitten

SELKIRK REX KITTEN- write up   by kind permission of Judge Val Anderson
1st & BOB Bromley’s Aconzni Antbanderaz (79s20) 20.10.2009
One of my take home kittens of the day a most beautiful Selkirk Rex baby who was so cuddly. And a cuddle did we have!  A most handsome chap who had that lovely expression with medium sized ears positioned well with tufts and inner furnishings and being broad at the base. Excellent profile with a short broad nose with correct downward slant. Expressive eyes of pleasing colour although, not relevant I know huge and round. Good width overall across his super head with good boning beneath. Super rectangular muzzle shape being well padded.  His bite was level and the chin in balance.  Strong rectangular body being all in proportion with medium length to his super strong thick well boned legs and big round paws. Good tail with lovely curl. What a coat I don’t think I have seen one this superb.  Curl everywhere that went right down to the roots of his coat and it stood away from his body beautifully.  He undercoat was just so warm in colour it would put most British to shame.  I know the coat colour again is not relevant, but really worth a mention.  I just loved him and he went on to become Best British Kitten a very well deserved win.  He had that real cuddle factor!

  1. BROMLEY’S ACOZNI ANTBANDERAZ (79s 20) MN 20/10/09

Brown Tabby Shorthair. A huge boy with such a sweet nature I would have loved to take him home, but would have needed a small suitcase to fit him in. Good development to head with broad top and full cheeks, his ears are well set a small to medium size with cute tufts to tips. Large well opened eyes a rich orange colour, broad straight nose with downward slant, his cheeks are filling and rounding, he has good  width to his muzzle and well-padded whiskers pads giving the  correct rectangular impression, level bite and firm chin. Great substance and boning to frame with width across the shoulders and rump, thick boned legs with  the largest firm round paws. Wonderful coat, thick and dense standing well from his body with lots of loose individual curls a lovely rich colour, medium balanced length tail.

Corrine ventured out to the Midland Counties

taking Antbanderaz to both his and her first cat show as competitors .

They both did themselves proud with Antbanderaz winning Best of Variety Kitten on his first show outing
